Denford -

We have developed specifically-designed CNC milling machines, lathes and routers for education & training; and these Denford products are a familiar feature in STEM and Engineering laboratories throughout the world.

Traditional CAD/CAM software and hardware solutions are our core business, with the Router 2600 Pro machine being our best-selling CNC machine.  The all-round flexibility of the product appeals to schools, who also appreciate the fact that it can also cut non-ferrous metals, as well as the more popular resistant materials such as hardwood, softwood, plastic, modelling foam and acrylic.

In addition to these core products, Denford is able to offer 3D Printers, Laser Cutters, 3D Scanning solutions, and Cutter/Plotters.

CR Clarke -

R Clarke & Company was founded by Chris Clarke in 1974. With industrial experience at Rolls Royce along with seven years as an engineering lecturer. Chris was approached by a former colleague to build a simple heating machine to use with plastics in school workshops.

Production started in the outbuildings of the family home, and by 1977 a small range of strip heaters and vacuum forming machines had been developed.

In 1978 the company relocated to Ammanford, South Wales and moved to its current factory in 1982.

Chris Clarke retired in 2004.  At this time his son Maurice completed a Management Buyout to purchase the company and take it forward.

Today, we have a dedicated team of around 25 people, many of who have worked in our company for over 20 years. This depth of experience helps us both when working in new projects, and also with any support questions that arise even for older products.

Leybold Didactic -

The LEYBOLD automotive technology training systems are self-contained, fully-operational experiment setups, consisting of individual units, instrumentation and educational software and teachware.

The equipment is designed to cover the following topics in automotive technology:

  • Electronics and electrical circuitry
  • Electrical machines
  • Engine
  • Comfort and driver assistance
  • Chassis and drive train
  • Network and diagnostics
  • Alternative drive technology

We develop and produce our educational systems in close cooperation with the automotive industry and can thus guarantee that our systems are not only very realistic in terms of their hands-on applications but also state-of-the-art.

Since 2003 we have been teaming up with AUDI AG’s training centre to develop automotive training and educational systems, for example, the auto lighting system training panel. This makes it possible for trainees to learn the fundamentals of vehicle electronics and modern data bus systems using original AUDI A4 parts.
